Screening ensures you are never caught off guard

A routine, preventive health check-up for healthy people

Screening shines a light on your health, so you can keep doing what you love
Our annual screening program gives you a comprehensive and accurate prediction of your health status.
Why Screen?

Screening helps you identify previously unrecognised health risks. Finding them at an early stage allows you to modify your lifestyle and prevent lifestyle diseases. In the case of cancers, finding them early gives you the best chance of receiving effective treatment.

5 YEAR SURVIVAL RATE

STAGE 1 93%
STAGE 4 24%
Stages of Cancer
TUMOR CELL
LYMPH NODES
STAGE 1 EARLY STAGE
Cancer is confined to a single area.
STAGE 2 LOCALIZED
Cancer has grown and may have spread to nearby lymph nodes.
STAGE 3 REGIONAL SPREAD
Cancer has spread to nearby tissues and/or lymph nodes.
STAGE 4 DISTANT SPREAD
Cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
Screening vs Diagnosis
A Screening Test
is for healthy, asymptomatic people and can be done voluntarily. It’s used to identify a problem at an early stage making treatment easier.
A Diagnostic Test
is a medical test for some one who displays the symptoms of a sickness, often prescribed by a medical practitioner. It can help confirm a suspected condition that came to light during screening.
Why is early detection important?
Japan is a great example of why early detection works. Life expectancy in Japan is the longest in the world, thanks in part to their tradition of periodic screening. Cancers in Japan are usually detected at an early stage, giving those diagnosed with it the best chance at receiving effective treatment.
NURA is modelled after this Japanese system of periodic screening.

When should I consider screening?

The best time to screen is when you’re healthy, but if you have a family history of cancer it’s better to start earlier. Screening is also recommended if you have a stressful and busy lifestyle, with frequent business trips, a lack of sleep, and a lack of exercise. People with lifestyle factors like being overweight, smoking or excessive alcohol consumption can benefit greatly from screening.
